Geza I (Magnus) 1074–1077 – a brief yet diverse denar series

Coins of Geza I (Magnus) come from a period of dynastic tension, resulting in multiple types and die varieties. Legend layout, cross and bead-circle motifs, and subtle iconographic details support attribution. We note notable die links and scarcer subtypes with references to Huszar and Unger.

Collecting tip: compare the Geza–Salamon–St. Ladislaus sequence to understand early Arpad typology. Centering and rim completeness are crucial both aesthetically and commercially; our photos document these aspects in detail.

Every piece is measured and metal-checked; additional images and bibliography on request.
